How payments work
ValidBridge uses Paystack with bring-your-own keys: your organization connects its own Paystack account and learners' payments go straight to it.
Payments in ValidBridge run on Paystack using a bring-your-own-key model. Each organization connects its own Paystack merchant account by pasting its API keys. Learners pay on Paystack's secure checkout page and the money settles directly into your Paystack account — ValidBridge never holds your funds.
The flow at a glance
- An admin connects Paystack under Payments → Configuration.
- You create offers — a price (one-time or subscription) linked to courses or a payment group.
- A learner clicks Get access or Subscribe and pays on Paystack.
- Paystack notifies ValidBridge, which unlocks the courses for that learner immediately.
What learners can pay with
Whatever your Paystack account accepts — typically cards, bank payments and mobile money such as M-Pesa, depending on your country and Paystack settings.
| Payments tab | What it is for |
